The cases sub judice are the remaining consolidated cases from seventeen identical public records mandamus actions filed by various inmates of the Lorain Correctional Institution against the respondent, the Custodian of Records for the Strongsville Police Department, to compel, pursuant to R.C. 149.43, the release of records relating to the investigation of the homicides of Thomas Kowal and Kim Shusta.
