Memorandum.

The order of the Appellate Division should be affirmed.

In 1998, defendant was questioned at the Highland and Kingston State Police barracks in connection with the Brooklyn murder of her husband eight years earlier. Suspicion had fallen on defendant after the suicide of her former lover. In the note he left behind, he explained that he had been the victim of defendant’s extortion; she had threatened to harm him if he did not continue to pay her.
