On the-29th day of November, 1921, an appalling catastrophe happened in this county of Kings in the collapse of a certain building known as the American' Theatre, on Bedford avenue, then in course of construction. The fall of this building resulted in the death of at least two persons, Isaac Baskin and Philip Stein. On the 18th day of March, 1922, separate indictments in precisely the same language were found by the .grand jury of the county of Kings charging Samuel Moskowitz with the crime of manslaughter in the first degree on the first "count and manslaughter in the second…
