Plaintiffs Alex and Roxanna Erwin purchased a home in the summer of 1988. They required a termite inspection report prior to purchase, and the seller hired defendant WMI Urban Services, Inc., doing business in Atlanta as Tindol/Getz, to inspect the premises and provide the report. The Tindol/Getz report stated that there had been termite infestation in the past, but that there was no visible evidence of damage to the home.
