Indira Adusumilli (“Adusumilli”) was fired from her position as an Administrative Assistant for the City of Chicago, Department of Police (“City”). She subsequently brought suit for discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e-2(a)(1). After striking portions of Adusumilli’s affidavit, the distinct court granted the City’s motion for summary judgment on all claims.
