The three appellees are the trustees in bankruptcy of the Schmick, Handle & Lumber Company, a Maine cor - poration adjudged bankrupt in the Maine District Court, February 6, 1914, upon an involuntary petition filed January 20, 1914. They were *755appointed receivers of the bankrupt estate January 22, 1914, acted as such until after the adjudication, and were then duly chosen and qualified as trustees.
The appellant, Hollingsworth & Whitney Company, a Massachusetts corporation, was the owner of timber lands in Maine. On Bald Mountain township, belonging to it, there wrere lying…
