SHANGLER, Presiding Judge.

Plaintiff Twila Corbin had damages against defendant Marvin Wennerberg in the sum of $6500 for bodily injuries caused by an automobile collision at an uncontrolled intersection. Judgment was entered upon that verdict and defendant appeals.

At the trial, each party charged the other with the single negligent act of having failed to keep a careful lookout — plaintiff, in her verdict-directing Instruction No. 5, and defendant, in his Instruction No. 7 which submitted the affirmative defense of plaintiff’s contributory negligence.
