Plaintiff-husband brought this action against defendant-wife seeking an absolute divorce and an equitable distribution of the marital property pursuant to G.S. 50-20. Plaintiff specifically sought absolute fee simple title to the former marital home, the only asset to be divided and owned by plaintiff and defendant as tenants by the entirety. Defendant-wife also requested absolute divorce and equitable distribution of marital property.
