This is one of the many insurance cases filed in or removed to the Southern District of Texas after Hurricane Ike. The plaintiffs, MLCSV10 and Stateside Enterprises, Inc., sued five insurance companies *695in two separate actions in state court, asserting causes of action for breach of an insurance contract, breach of the duty of good faith and fair dealing, violations of the Texas Insurance Code (“TIC”), and violations of the Texas, Deceptive Trade Practices Act (“DTPA”).
