Antonio Glenn was arrested and charged with various narcotics and weapons offenses, based on information provided to the police by a confidential informant. He filed a motion to compel the State to disclose the identity of the informant; in response, the State invoked the informant’s privilege, OCGA § 24-9-27 (d). The trial court granted Glenn’s motion to compel disclosure and the State sought and was granted interlocutory review in the Court of Appeals, which reversed the judgment of the trial court. State v.
