Currently before the Court in this mortgage-backed securities (“MBS”) class action is a motion by Lead Plaintiff Employees’ Retirement System of the Government of the Virgin Islands (“Virgin Is*324lands”) to withdraw as lead plaintiff, to appoint the Laborers Pension Trust Fund for Northern California (“Laborers”) as substitute lead plaintiff, and to approve Laborers’ selection of the law firm of Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP (the current lead counsel for Virgin Islands) to serve as lead counsel.
