The defendant,1 the Wallingford Police Union Local 1570, Council 15, AFSCME, appeals from the judgment of the trial court vacating an arbitration award in its favor. This dispute arose out of the termination by the plaintiff town of Wallingford of Philip Nicker-son’s2 employment as a police officer.
