Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Broome County, rendered December 4, 1978, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of manslaughter in the first degree. Defendant signed a confession detailing his activities during the early morning hours of April 21, 1978, which led to the death of a department store security guard in Binghamton, New York. His motion to suppress the statement was denied following a hearing and the propriety of that ruling is challenged on this appeal.
