Defendant-appellees and cross-appellants John, Jack, and Theresa Ryan, d/b/a Ryan Brothers Livestock, and Dorothy Ryan (the Ryans) own a parcel of land in Monroe County outside Bloomington which they purchased from defendant-appellee and cross-appellant Carol Holmes.
