This was an action for damages to plaintiff’s truck which was struck by a freight train on defendant’s interurban railway a mile or two west of Kansas City.

*215The locus in quo was as follows: North of the Kaw river, which flows eastwardly thereabout, lie the tracks of the Union Pacific railway. North of the Union Pacific tracks is a bluff which parallels the river and the railway.
