This action arises out of a fraudulent mortgage loan scheme allegedly perpetrated by Margaret Lee upon Eastern Savings Bank (“ESB”). Plaintiff, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company (“Old Republic”), brings this action as a subrogee to ESB’s rights to the mortgage loan proceeds.
