Following a jury trial, Ron Everett was convicted of two counts of robbery by force (OCGA § 16-8-40), one count of aggravated assault (OCGA § 16-5-21), one count of kidnapping (OCGA § 16-5-40), and one count of elder abuse (OCGA § 30-5-8). By his sole enumeration of error, Everett appeals from the trial court’s denial of his motion for new trial, asserting that his trial counsel was ineffective for failing to object to the admission of a prior conviction which was inadmissible under OCGA § 24-9-84.1 (b). Discerning no error, we affirm.
