FACTUAL BACKGROUND

Before the court are defendant’s motions to dismiss Counts II and IV of plaintiff’s complaint pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 12(b)(6) and 12(f) and to strike plaintiff’s requests for counsel fees and punitive damages. The facts alleged in the complaint and plaintiff’s brief are as follows. Defendant, Commercial Union Insurance Company, (“Commercial Union”) hired plaintiff, Tami Keck (“Keck”), on July 3, 1979 as a file clerk, later promoting her to the position of assembly clerk.
