On August 10, 2010, the State of Illinois (“the State” or “Plaintiff’), through its Attorney General Lisa Madigan, filed a lawsuit against AU Optronics Corporation, et al. (“Defendants”) in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, pursuant to the Illinois Antitrust Act (“LAA”). Plaintiffs complaint alleges that Defendants engaged in a conspiracy to fix prices of thin film transistor liquid crystal display (“LCD”) panels between 1998 and 2006.
