MEMORANDUM OPINION

JOHN T. LANEY, III, Bankruptcy Judge.

On June 26, 1992, the court held a hearing on the Defendant’s (Internal Revenue Service) Motion to Dismiss. At the conclusion of the hearing, the court took the matter under advisement in order to allow the parties the opportunity to submit briefs on the issue of whether the court is precluded from issuing sanctions against the IRS for violating the permanent discharge injunction due to the Supreme Court’s decision in United States v.
