MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
BABCOCK, District Judge.
In this breach of contract/promissory es-toppel and. defamation action, defendant, MCI Telecommunications Corporation, (MCI) moves for summary judgment pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 56 on the claims of Lori Silchia (Silchia), Barbara Zimmerman, (Zimmerman), Joe Piccinetti (Piccinetti), and Tim Montoya (Montoya) (collectively, plaintiffs).
