During events involved here plaintiff was a Michigan corporation operating in this State with its headquarters and factory located in the city of Mt. Pleasant, where it engaged in manufacturing from logs wood panels and veneer, and selling its manufactured product. In the course of its business it purchased logs and bolts at Cadillac and other places in this State, shipping the same from where purchased to its plant in Mt.
