Plaintiff Richard Goode (“Plaintiff’ or “Goode”) was discharged by Defendant American Airlines Inc. (“American” or “the Airline”) on January 3, 2006. On July 12, 2008, Plaintiff filed a complaint in which he alleges that his dismissal constituted retaliatory discharge for exercising his rights under the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act (“IWCA”), 820 ILCS 305/4(h).
