Duckworth, Justice.
Mrs. Jennie L. Seagraves brought suit for divorce against L. J. Seagraves, basing the same upon the grounds of cruel treatment and adultery. She also prayed for permanent alimony and custody of a minor child of the parties. The defendant denied the acts alleged against him, and opposed the grant of any of the relief sought by the plaintiff. He filed a cross-bill in which he asked for a divorce on the ground of cruel treatment, and sought custody of the child and certain other relief.
