On February 14, 1955, a petition was filed in the circuit court of Cook County by the city of Chicago, in trust for the use of schools, to condemn for educational purposes six vacant adjoining lots fronting for a distance of 300 feet upon North Wolcott Street in the Rogers Park area of Chicago.
