The Board of Trustees (Board) of the Public School Teachers’ Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago (Pension Fund) revoked certain pension credits previously credited to plaintiff on the basis of the Board’s erroneous interpretation of certain 1987 amendments to the Illinois Pension Code (Pension Code) (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1989, ch. 108½, par. 1 — 101 et seq.). Plaintiff sought review of the administrative decision in the circuit court, which granted his motion for summary judgment on the ground that the Board’s determination was incorrect.
