Appellant, Vernon Lee Thomas, filed his suit in the First Judicial District of Hinds County to recover damages from the appellee, Mississippi Products Company, Inc., on account of a serious injury to his left hand. His declaration was in three counts, charging negligence of the appellee in (1) failing to give instructions to and warn the appellant, who was inexperienced, about the performance of his duties, and (2) in failing to provide a guard on the ripsaw, and (3) in failing to provide a reasonably safe place to work.
