Defendant, Amalgamated Trust and Savings Bank, here appeals from a judgment for $2,917.73 entered by the circuit court of Cook County in favor of Rose E. Flatow, plaintiff, in the latter’s suit to recover funds deposited in her name in a savings account at the defendant bank.

The complaint filed in the cause alleged, in substance, that plaintiff had at various times deposited funds in a savings account at the bank; that the account, with accrued interest, totalled $2,676.56; and that despite her demands, the bank refused to return the funds or any portion thereof to her.
