This is an action for divorce from the bonds of matrimony. The libel originally filed by the appellee, on May 7, 1926, averred that the respondent had wilfully and maliciously deserted the libellant, without reasonable cause, and had continued such wilful and malicious desertion for a space of two years last past and upwards. The respondent filed an answer denying that he had deserted libellant and averring that the desertion had been by the libellant and, in addition, averred that the libellant had committed adultery with one Walter J.
