This appeal presents the question whether Mrs. J. K. Allen, is liable on a note signed by her, or exempt from liability under the provisions of section 2127, Kentucky Statutes; she being a married woman at the time •she signed the note. That section of the Statutes reads:
“Marriage shall give to the husband, during the life of the wife, no estate or interest in the wife’s property, real or personal, owned at the time or acquired after the marriage. During the existence of the marriage relation the wife shall hold and own all her estate to her…
