The Texas Workmen’s Compensation Law is an elective Act. In certain designated employments it is exclusive, governing employes and specifying compensation for injuries sustained in course of employment, provided the injuries are within the contemplation of the Act and the injured employe or his dependents comply with the terms thereof.
