Paulina Kozlowski sued her former employer, Greenridge Farm, Inc., and her former supervisor at Greenridge, Michael Shannon, alleging that Greenridge violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. , and that both defendants violated the Illinois Human Rights Act ("IHRA"), 775 ILCS 5/1-101 et seq. , when they demoted and then terminated her after learning she was pregnant.
