MEMORANDUM OPINION

MICHAEL, District Judge.

Plaintiff, Essie B. Lanum, brings this action seeking monetary damages for breach of contract against the defendant, Mark H. Shellans. Plaintiff has properly invoked the jurisdiction of this court pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1332(a), the parties being citizens of different states and the amount in controversy exceeding Ten Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($10,000.00), exclusive of interest and costs.
