WAIVER OF JUVENILE JURISDICTION(1)

A court conferred with jurisdiction in juvenile causes (juvenile court), see Code, Art. 26, § 51, may waive the exclusive jurisdiction over a delinquent child 1 conferred upon it by § 7.0-2 and, pursuant to § 70-16, may order the child held for trial under regular procedures of the court which would have jurisdiction over the offense if committed by an adult.
