Ben Ransaw, appellee, filed this suit against the Pullman Company and the Texas & Pacific Railway Company to recover damages itemized as follows: For doctors, nurses, hospital, and medicines, lost time from work, humiliation and mental pain and anguish suffered by being illegally arrested by appellant’s watchman, physical and mental pain and suffering by reason of a gunshot wound, stating a specific amount of damage sustained under each of said items.
