MEMORANDUM OPINION & ORDER
BENSON, District Judge.
Introduction
This matter is before the Court on defendants’ combined motion for summary judgment and motion to exclude the testimony of plaintiffs’ dose estimate expert, Shepherd Miller Inc. (“SMI”). 1 Defendants Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc., the Ensign-Bickford Company, and Mai- linckrodt Inc., jointly filed the instant motion.
