TMs is a record of a brutal murder, committed in diabolical malignity and inflicted by savage torture. The State, as organized society, has decreed that the appellant, Edward Calhoun, shall die for it. He and another young man of the same age, twenty-one years, Harold Hollars, had been working on a railroad at Greenfield, Indiana, last summer.
