Defendants appeal from an order of the trial-court *56denying their motion pursuant to ORS 18.160① to set aside a default judgment against them.

On July 1, 1965 defendants’ counsel filed an application for a trial date. On July 19 the court set the case for trial on August 23, 1965. Defendants’ counsel admits he was present in court on July 19 hut does not recall the oral announcement of a trial date by the judge at that time.
