Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Ulster County (Williams, J.), rendered October 2, 2012, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of burglary in the second degree.

Following his arrest and indictment on three counts of burglary in the second degree, defendant engaged in plea negotiations that culminated in an offer to enter a guilty plea to one count of the indictment in exchange for a prison sentence of seven years followed by five years of postrelease supervision and the payment of restitution.
