This is a shoplifting case. Appellee, Lisa Ann Petersen, was charged .with the offense of theft of property valued at an amount greater than or equal to fifty dollars but less than five hundred dollars, a Class B misdemeanor. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 31.08(a), (e)(2)(A)© (West Supp.2014).
