On the 13th day of November, 1924, a prosecution was instituted against the defendant in the Circuit Court of Cole County by the filing therein of an information charging him with knowingly and wilfully exhibiting to the Assistant Commissioner of Finance of the State of Missouri a certain false paper with the intention of deceiving him. The venue of the cause was changed to Calla-' way County, and on a trial thereof in the circuit court of that county the defendant was convicted and sentenced to imprisonment in the State Penitentiary for a term of seven years.
