MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
PLUNKETT, District Judge.
By instruction of the United States Supreme Court, Marrese v. American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, — U.S. -, 105 S.Ct. 1327, 1335, 84 L.Ed.2d 274 (1985), we must decide the nearly metaphysical question of whether Illinois courts would treat the Circuit Court’s dismissal of plaintiffs’ original complaints on the merits as a bar to plaintiffs’ present complaint, brought under the exclusive antitrust jurisdiction of the federal courts.
