¶1 David Maurice Dahlin, Jr., was charged by information on January 15,1997, with the offenses of felony driving under the influence of alcohol, misdemeanor driving without a valid driver’s license, and misdemeanor failure to have liability protection in effect. The Tenth Judicial District Court, Fergus County, conducted a nonjury trial and found Dahlin guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol, fourth offense, and driving without a valid driver’s license.
