Alonzo Hilton hired one of his automobiles (a Buick model), to Roby Wagner for the purpose of transporting Milligan College basket ball players from Johnson City, Tennessee, to Fort Benning, Georgia, near Columbus, Georgia, where they were scheduled to play a game of basket ball. The team required two automobiles. Roby Wagner was under a contract with the college authorities to transport the boys from place to place as they were scheduled to play.
