Jon M. Schirmang appeals an order revoking his driver's license and his subsequent conviction for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant (OMVWI). Schirmang contends that the information he was given prior to refusing to take a chemical intoxication test was inadequate under § 343.305(4), STATS. He contends the officer misstated the time period during which his prior OMVWI convictions could be counted against him; that the statement given misled him; and that he was prevented from making an informed choice about whether to submit to the requested test.
