By petition and order to show cause, dated August 25, 1978, the father seeks custody of his two daughters, aged nine and seven. The mother was personally served with the pleadings in Oxford, Mississippi. Thereafter, she appeared in this proceeding, and, pursuant to her request and under the provisions of section 262 of the Family Court Act, counsel was assigned.
