I respectfully dissent from quashing this writ. The defendant, Leon Barnett, was convicted of one count of trafficking in marijuana, a violation of § 13A-12-231(1), Ala.Code 1975; one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, a violation of § 13A-12-260, Aa.Code 1975; and two counts of the unlawful distribution of marijuana, a violation of § 13A-12-211, Ala.Code 1975.
