ROSS, Circuit Judge.
Wardell Washington appeals from the district court’s1 ruling entered in favor of defendants, Little Rock Police Officers John Fink, John Ball and Phillip White.2 Washington brought this action under 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981 and 1983 (1982), and also under a corresponding pendent state tort law alleging his fourth and fourteenth amendment rights were violated as a result of an unlawful arrest and unlawful entry into his place of residence.
