delivered the opinion of the Court. *

In this case Morris Gr. Bauer, who will be referred to hereinafter as the complainant, filed' in the Chancery Court of Knox County, Tennessee, a petition for divorce against Sara Tucker Bauer, a non-resident, whose residence was said to be Washington, D. C. The bill was filed on February 13,1946. Publication was made for the defendant. On March 22,1946., a pro confesso was taken. Thereafter and on March 23, 1946, a final decree of divorce was entered.
