LAWSON, District Judge.

The petitioner, Angelo Jenaro Lutz, presently confined at the Federal Correctional Institution in Petersburg, Virginia, has filed a pro se petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241. The petitioner alleges the violation of his constitutional rights arising from a prison disciplinary hearing where he was punished for attempting to introduce contraband into the Federal Correctional Institution at Milan, Michigan.
